Niagara College has issued a statement about the Canada-Saudi Arabia dispute.
The college says officials are monitoring the situation very closely after Saudi Arabia suspended its scholarship program.
About 40 students are expected for the Fall 2018 term -- most in the Bachelor of Business Administration degree programs.
Approximately 36 of those students are receiving sponsorship from the government of Saudi Arabia.
Niagara College says it's offering academic counselling and support for its Saudi students while it looks into the implications of the announcement.
Currently, Niagara College is unaware of any impact on its operations in Saudi Arabia
The release says because "this is a sensitive diplomatic matter," it will not make any further comments.
