Niagara could be in for chilly start to May.
The Weather Network's Doug Gillham says we are in for just a little bit of warm weather this weekend. "It's not wall to wall sunshine, there are going to be some cloudy periods but maybe a few showers Saturday evening. But the daytime hours of Saturday and Sunday, mix of sun and clouds and we're going to see upper teens to even early twenties."
But you will want to get out and enjoy the nice weather while it lasts.
"I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we are going back to a chilly pattern. It's really going to take over the first week of May through Mother's Day weekend. Mother's Day weekend does not look pleasant. Sorry mom."
He says we may still have a few days ahead of us where we don't get above single digit temperatures.
On the bright side, Gillham says the spring budding will be slowed down by the lower temperatures so we might get to enjoy them for a prolonged period of time.
