Opening arguments are expected today at the trial of four men charged in the daylight shooting of John Raposo in Toronto.
Among those charged with first degree murder in Raposo's death, Niagara Falls drug kingpin Nick Nero.
Nero is currently serving a 22 year sentence after being found guilty in a massive drug bust in Niagara.
Nero was charged in the spring of 2012 after $30 million worth of cocaine was discovered in a St. Catharines warehouse.
Raposo was fatally shot on the patio of a cafe on June 18th, 2012 as soccer fans gathered to watch a Euro Cup game.
Police allege Raposo's shooting was targeted.
Nero and the three others charged in Raposo's murder have all pleaded not guilty.
