A man who suffered critical injuries after falling down a set of stairs at Albion Falls is suing the city for pain and suffering.
23 year old Corey Dixon, who is from Mississauga, went to the scenic waterfall with friends on February 27th, 2016 just after midnight, when he fell down a set of stairs covered in snow and ice.
He slid to the bottom of the staircase, then fell another 9 metres off a cliff.
He suffered 30 broken bones, and a ruptured spleen and now has permanent heart damage and memory loss.
Dixon's $390,000 lawsuit names the city, the Hamilton Conservation Authority, the Niagara Escarpment Commission, and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
