Niagara Falls city council will hold a special meeting this afternoon, to discuss the city's second attempt to get a university presence in the downtown core.
The meeting gets underway at 4:30 and is open to the public.
During the special session, council will be updated on Ryerson's second application to get a federal development grant to establish a digital media zone in the Q District.
A similiar grant application was turned down in 2016.
