One city council in Niagara is calling for action in the CAO hiring scandal.
Niagara Falls City Councillor Kim Craitor brought forward a resolution to council last night calling on CAO Carmen D'Angelo to resign and to re-establish public trust in the region.
The resolution was passed with only two council members opposed to it.
Mike Strange and Wayne Thomson, voted against Craitor's motion with Thomson saying he didn't have enough information on the issue.
A special meeting of council will be held tomorrow following a petition from the majority regional councillors to deal with the CAO hiring scandal.
