The Niagara Falls Fire Department is gearing up to Fire Prevention Week and hosting its annual open house this Saturday September 23 from 10:00 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m. at the Morrison Street Fire Station.
Ben Trendle, Captain of Fire Prevention says it's a great opportunity for families to come out to the fire station and learn about fire safety all while having a great time.
The fire department event features a fire hose target practice, jumping castle, Home Depot kid’s workshop, firefighter demonstrations, fire extinguisher training, displays, live burn demonstration and much more.
There is also a community barbecue and food drive that will support Project Share.
This is a free event and the fire department asks that those who can donate non-perishable food items bring them to the station.
