A Niagara Falls retiree says he'll have to sell his house in Florida after being banned from the United States for what he believes was a bureaucratic snafu.
Mike Quinn, who spent 16 years working in the US, says he was told to sign a form stating he was an American citizen while renewing his Florida driver's licence way back in 2000.
The 70-year-old Quinn says he advised the counter clerk of the mistake at the time, and she said she'd have her supervisor fix the error.
However, Homeland Security told Quinn that because he falsely claimed US citizenship, he's now banned form the country.
