A Niagara Falls man was arrested in an undercover sting for allegedly trying to sell an illegal weapon online.

A Niagara Falls man was arrested in an undercover sting for allegedly trying to sell an illegal weapon online.

Police began their investigation Friday after they found an electrical stun devise for sale on Kijiji.

The prohibited weapon was disguised as an ordinary flashlight although the description said it could deliver 9.2 million volts

Yesterday, police met with the seller and bought the weapon.

The seller, identified as 38 year old Sean Gillespie, was arrested and charged with weapons trafficking and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.
