A 32 year old Niagara Falls man is among a group of five people, including a pair of Canadian border agents arrested on suspicion of drug smuggling.
Roberto Leyva, the two agents, one from Toronto the other from Barrie, and two other men from Brampton were charged in an investigation into a drug smuggling operation police say was based out of Pearson International Airport.
RCMP allege the two border agents facilitated the importation of more than 30 kilograms of cocaine between January last year and April this year.
They also seized cocaine shipped from Colombia and Jamaica to Toronto.
