A 45 year old Niagara Falls man has been charged with stunt driving.
Niagara Parks Police say they clocked a vehicle on radar doing 144 km/h in a 60 zone at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon on the Niagara Parkway south of Ives Gateway.
The driver is now charged with Stunting under the provisions of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
His licence was suspended for seven days, and the vehicle he was driving was impounded for seven days .
Penalties upon conviction for Stunting include a $2,000 to $10,000 fine, suspension of the defendant's driver's licence for up to two years, seven demerit points and increased insurance rates.
