As expected the Conservatives are not happy with today's federal spending plan.
Speaking to CKTB's Larry Fedoruk, Niagara Falls MP Rob Nicholson says the budget was very disappointing for Niagara.
Nicholson says there was no mention of tourism or agriculture, two things he says are fundamentally important to the region.
He also criticized the government for vague details about a new pharmacare program.
Nicholson says no timeline or funding was identified.
He says the only thing the government did was take a Wynne government official to study it, fuelling speculation the Liberals plan to make pharmacare a centrepiece of their 2019 election campaign.
