Niagara Falls, NY city council is contributing to a stunt planned for the 5th year anniversary of Nik Wallenda's wire walk across Niagara Falls.
Council voted yesterday to allocate $35,000 to the June 15th event, that will see Wallenda's wife, aerialist Erendira Wallenda, dangle by her teeth from a tether attached to a helcopter above the cataracts.
Niagara County kicked in another $35,000 toward the stunt earlier this month.
U-S officials say the total cost of the event is $120,000 which includes an undisclosed "talent fee" for Wallenda.
