A unique recycling event gets underway tomorrow in Niagara Falls.
Starting at 7:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon, residents are asked to place unwanted, reusable items at the curb in a Community Curbside Giveaway.
The idea is to keep useful items out of landfills and encourage recycling while allowing neighbours the chance to do some free curbside shopping.
All you have to do is mark items with a free curbside giveaway sign.
You can download the free sticker online at niagarafalls.ca/curbside or create your own.
Suggested items include computers, electronics, furniture, kitchen gadgets, sporting goods and building materials.
The city suggests any left over items be donated to local charities.
