A Niagara Falls City Councillor is putting his name in for the PC nomination for the upcoming 2018 provincial election.
Mike Strange announcing he filed his papers about a week and a half ago.
The Niagara Falls PC riding association is holding its annual general meeting this Thursday, where a nomination meeting date may be set.
The rookie politician was first elected to city council in 2014.
He finished second in voting out of eight councillors elected.
