A 37 year old Niagara Falls woman is dead after a crash in rural Alberta.
The woman along with a 32 year old female relative from B.C. were both killed when their SUV collided with a big rig at a highway intersection in Myrnam, about 200 km from Edmonton.
The 37 year old victim' s, two sons aged 8 and 12 were injured in the crash.
RCMP say it appears the SUV proceeded from a stop sign at the intersection and was struck on the passenger side by a westbound semi.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The victim's family has been notified and no names will be released.
Police say a four year old border collie named Oliver was also in one of the vehicles but its beleived the dog ran away after the crash.
