Niagara Health Foundation is a big step closer to buying 11 new defibrillators for the Welland Hospital.
Over 250 people took part in Break the Bank in the Rose City, bringing in more than $35,000 for the Foundation's $975,000 goal.
Officials say each defibrillators costs $25,000 each.
At the end of the event, Royal LePage NRC presented the foundation with a check for $25,000, bringing the night's total to $60,000.
