Niagara West M-P Dean Allison is speaking out on the apparent deal the government has struck with Omar Khadr.
Allison posting on social media today, asking why Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is rewarding a convicted terrorist with a $10 million apology.
The Conservative M-P saying it's disgusting and unacceptable.
Yesterday, a source said Ottawa is going to apologize and award Khadr a 10.5-million-dollar settlement.
Another Conservative M-P, Tony Clement says the former Guantanamo Bay prisoner should hand the settlement he has reportedly reached with Ottawa to the widow of an American soldier.
Khadr was just 15 when he allegedly threw a grenade that killed Tabitha Speer's husband Christopher and wounded another U-S soldier in Afghanistan.
She and Sergeant Layne Morris have filed an application arguing that any money Khadr gets from the Canadian government to settle a wrongful imprisonment suit should go to them.
Speer and Morris filed a wrongful death and injury lawsuit against Khadr in 2014 and a year later an American judge granted them 134.2-million-dollars in damages.
