The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives is out with a list of the best cities in Canada for women and St. Catharines-Niagara ranks low.
The study ranks the country's 25 largest cities, looking at gaps between men and women in terms of economic and personal security, education, health and positions of leadership.
St. Catharines-Niagara is 19th on the list.
Hamilton, Toronto and Kitchener Waterloo are in the middle of the pack.
Kingston and London are in the top five, with Victoria BC in top spot for the second year in a row.
