Niagara-On-The-Lake will swear in a new councillor this summer.
Sandra O'Connor will be stepping into the position left vacant by the resignation of Stuart McCormack on July 1st.
Town Council decided to fill the vacancy with the next highest ranking candidate from the 2018 election.
O'Connor garnered 2,431 votes, placing ninth overall.
She will be sworn in during the August 24th council meeting, but will be invited to observe meetings and begin basic orientation in the meantime.
