Young people in Niagara may soon have somewhere new to turn when they are in crisis.
The Ministry of Children and Youth Services has announced a $2.1 billion investment that will create six new youth mental health care and addiction services hubs across the province.
The centres will be set up in the Niagara Region, Kenora, Malton, North Simcoe, Haliburton, and Cornwall.
Some of the services that will be offered include access to mental health assessments, addiction and substance treatments, therapy, and counselling.
