Police are investigating an attempted arson incident in Niagara Falls.
Niagara Regional Police say officers responded to a home on Niagara Parkway near Marshall Road back on November 23, 2023 when a home alarm was set off.
When they arrived shortly after 5 a.m. police found the door smashed open and an accelerant was poured on the floor.
They say it appears that the suspect was not able to start the fire and ran from the area.
Police released a photo of the suspect that was wearing a hoodie and a bandana covering his face.
Damage to the home is estimated at $5000.
