Homeowners in Niagara can expect a call on behalf of the cops next week.
The Niagara Regional Police Service is conducting a Community Satisfaction Survey as officials develop the next Three Year Business Plan.
Representatives from the Centre for Public Safety and Community Justice Research at the University of the Fraser Valley will be randomly calling 1,000 homes in the region.
The phone survey should take about 15 minutes to complete and questions will revolve around police effectiveness, sense of safety, community programs, and future policing priorities.
No personal information will be collected, including name and address, and a charitable donation will not be asked for.
If any resident questions the authenticity of the telephone survey if contacted by the researchers, they can contact Dr. Paul Divers, Corporate Analyst, at 905-688-4111 at ext. 5008, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
