Niagara Region Public Health have confirmed one new case of COVID-19 and one more death of a patient that was being treated for the virus.
In total, Niagara has had 559 cases of the virus.
395 of the 559 cases have recovered, and 54 patients have died.
Currently, 110 cases are active.
Residents of long-term care/retirement homes make up 28.6% of Niagara's cases of the virus, and 81.5% of deaths.
Healthcare workers make up 22.4% of cases.
