Niagara Region Public Health have confirmed five new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total in the region to date to 769.
Out of the 769 cases, 680 have been resolved and 61 patients have died.
Currently, Niagara has 28 active cases of COVID-19.
Niagara now has two outbreaks of the virus, the ongoing situation at Garden City Manor and a new one at another health care facility that will be announced later today once all patients, families, and staff have been notified.
