Daytime highs are expected to reach 31°C, though with the humidity it might feel more like 37°C.
Don't expect much in terms of relief tonight either - temperatures are expected to hover near the low 20s.
Niagara residents are urged to be on the lookout for symptoms of heat related illnesses; confusion, dizziness, nausea, muscle swelling, and headache.
If you are planning to be outside today, public health encourages you to try and schedule your activities in the cooler parts of the day , to rest frequently in shady areas, and be sure to drink plenty of fluids.
