Ontario reported 160 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, bringing the provincial total to 34-thousand-476.
That number includes two-thousand-652 deaths -- eight of them reported yesterday -- and 29-thousand-932 resolved cases.
The province recently extended its state of emergency until July 15th.
Premier Doug Ford has said he hopes this will be the last time Ontario has to extend its state of emergency.
Here in Niagara, the Region's Public Health Department reported no new cases of COVID-19 yesterday.
To date, we have had 749 cases of the virus, 665 of those recovered and 61 patients died, 23 cases remain active.
