A 52 year old St. Catharines resident is one of six people arrested following an investigation into the sexual abuse of a 7 year old Hamilton girl.
Hamilton police yesterday releasing details into the investigation that began in May when they were contacted by Children's Aid about the girl, who told police she was being sexually abused by her mother's boyfriend and others after an ad was placed on the website Craigslist.
Police immediately arrested the mother's boyfriend and seized a number of computers.
With the help of Niagara Police, the OPP and Homeland Security police arrested the six others.
The unidentified St. Catharines was charged on Sept. 7 with making agreement or arrangement to commit sexual interference and possession of child pornography.
Police believe there may be more victims and they are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
