A 43 year old man charged in connection with Niagara's first murder of the year has been denied bail.
Karl McAdorey was charged with second degree murder after police were called to a home in St. Catharines Friday morning around 11:30 in the Appleby Drive and Bessborough area.
When police arrived on scene they found the body of 39 year old Angela McAdorey, the estranged wife of the suspect.
The investigation into the victim's death is ongoing.
