Canada's unemployment rate held steady last month as the economy added another 10,000 jobs.
The national rate remains at 6.2 percent.
Here in Niagara, the jobless rate fell from 6.5 percent in August to 6.3 percent in September.
It is the second month in a row the Niagara rate has fell.
Of the Ontario cities included in the Stats Can survey, Hamilton has the lowest rate at 4.2 percent.
