There are some encouraging signs from Niagara's long-term care homes.
Acting Medical Officer of Health Doctor Mustafa Hirji says the facilities dealing with outbreaks are reporting fewer COVID-19 cases.
"It has been many days since we've had any new cases from any of them, and so they are on the path to hopefully being over in the not so distant future."
Niagara Public Health is listing four long-term care outbreaks: The Henley House, Royal Rose Place, Lundy Manor, and Seasons Welland.
Hirji notes all the facilities are still areas of concern until an official end to outbreaks.
