The #MeToo movement will be front and centre at Take Back the Night walk in St.Catharines.
Tonight's event, which is organized by the Sexual Assault Centre, focuses on residents feeling safe and secure.
Suzanne Mason from the centre tells CKTB this year's walk will highlight the #MeToo developments over the past year that saw many high powered men accused of sexual assault.
She says there is no turning back, and it's important that people of all genders feel safe at work, and walking at night.
Residents can gather at 6:30pm at the St. Catharines Library Courtyard.
The walk begins following speeches around 8pm.
Everyone will meet back at the courtyard following the candle light walk.
