Niagara's newest Police Chief took some time out of his day to introduce himself to local residents.
Chief Bryan MacCulloch sat down with CKTB's Lee Sterry talking about his new position, replacing former chief Jeff McGuire.
McGuire retired in July.
MacCulloch says he has received overwhelming support from his colleagues and the public since his appointment was announced last week.
MacCulloch is a 32-year veteran of policing and served for more than four years as the deputy chief.
He is a lifelong resident of the region and calls the appointment an honour.
Also in the CKTB studio today, Deputy Chief Bill Fordy and Deputy Chief Brett Flynn.
Police Service Board Chair Bob Gale also joining the officers, inviting the public to Chief MacCulloch's swearing in ceremony at Club Italia on Friday Oct 27th at 2pm.
