Niagara's jobless rate dropped again for a second straight month.
The unemployment rate fell from 6.8 percent in August to 6 percent last month.
In fact we now have a better employment picture than Hamilton which saw its rate increase to 6.4 percent.
On the national level, Stats Can says the economy gained a healthy 67,200 new jobs but most of the increase was in part time and self employed work.
Despite those new jobs, the national rate remained unchanged at 7 percent.
Provincially, the rate dropped from 6.7 to 6.6 percent.
