At least two dogs are making quite the trip to Niagara in hopes of finding new families.
A husky will be completing a journey of more than 1,200 km from a remote northern community after it was found tied up in the woods.
Staff at the Niagara SPCA say she's thin, but very friendly.
Meanwhile, a young pup named 'Buster' will also be arriving at the shelter by the end of this week and receiving treatment for a neck abscess before trying to find his new home.
Both dogs are coming to Niagara as part of an ongoing partnership with Northern Reach Rescue Network.
