Work is finally expected to get underway on a $25 million project to revamp Niagara Square in Niagara Falls.
Plans are underway to tear down the old mall and begin work on a big box development.
The two banks currently in the mall will be moved to outside buildings, and Winners will relocate to the old Liquidation World site while the mall is demolished.
Niagara Square opened in 1977.
Work is expected to begin by the fall.
