Some public health agencies have stopped their program to check student immunization records and suspend students whose records aren't up to date, but that is not the case in Niagara.
One agency in Waterloo is suspending the program to put all their energy and resources into the COVID-19 outbreak.
However, Niagara Region Public Health has not stopped its immunization record review process.
Niagara Public Health says if your child has received a notice because they are overdue or have not reported immunizations, you should contact your doctor to received them or contact public health to make an appointment.
Parents can report immunizations to public health online and over the phone by calling 905-688-8248.
The suspension date is March 24.
