The date for the by-election in Niagara West Glanbrook has been set.
The Premier confirming two by-elections have been called for Nov. 17 to fill vacant seats.
Tim Hudak resigned his Niagara West riding last month.
The other vacancy is in the Ottawa-Vanier riding after Attorney General Madeleine Meilleur, who quit the long-held Liberal seat last summer.
The Liberals are running lawyer Vicky Ringuette, the NDP have yet to identify a candidate and the Conservatives have five people seeking the nomination.
Local Businessman Mike Williscraft, Regional Councillor Tony Quirk, former St. Catharines MP Rick Dykstra, 19 year old Sam Oosterhoff and JD Pacherevaare all seeking the nomination.
The party had set November 5th for the nomination meeting, but some candidates speculate it will be moved up given the date for the by-election.
