Building on last year's successful women's march, demonstrations and marches will be held across North America tomorrow.
This year's theme will focus on getting women out to vote and convincing them to run for office.
Here in Niagara, the event will be held with a twist.
Instead of a march, co organizor Karrie Porter says local women are invited to get together over coffee.
Porter says the goal is to further the conversation that started during last year's march.
She notes out of that march, came the resurrection of the anti racism coalition in Niagara and the formation of feminist groups as well as efforts to convince more local women to get involved in politics.
The event runs from 1:30 to 3:30 tomorrow afternoon at the Mahtay Cafe on St Paul Street in St. Catharines.
