Kaepernick has scored a contract with Nike.
He will be the one of the faces in an ad campaign commemorating the 30th anniversary of Nike's “Just Do It” slogan.
The former quarterback was the first NFL player to kneel during the national anthem as a protest against racism.
He tweeted out a black and white snap of himself over the weekend, with the Nike logo and "Just do It" slogan along with the quote , "Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.”
ESPN quoting an official with the sport apparel company who says "Colin is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation who has leveraged the power of sport to move the world forward."
