No drunk driving charges in Niagara, New Years Eve

Only a couple drivers were asked to take a breathalyzer and both passed.
Police say officers noticed a large number of designated drivers and cabs shuttling people to and from New Year's Eve festivities.
All toll, police conducted spot checks each week during the month of December , making three impaired driving arrests and issuing double the amount of three day suspensions.
