No injuries are being reported after a van plunged into the canal in Port Colborne.
Port Colborne Fire got the call at 6:20 a.m. this morning, but Fire Chief Tom Cartwright says when they arrived on scene nearThe Clarence Street Bridge the driver was already back on land.
"Just the driver of the van and he was able to climb up the wall and he was up here when we arrived."
Cartwright tells us EMS checked the man out, but he did not suffer any serious injuries.
No word on a cause at this point.
Cartwright says a police dive team will be pulling the van out of the water later today.
