While Ontario reported another 266 cases of COVID-19 yesterday, the Niagara Region had a second consecutive day of no new cases.
Niagara remains at 722 total cases with 60 currently still active and 61 deaths.
Ontario's increase was a 0.8 per cent increase over the previous day and the 6th straight day of cases under 300.
Testing continues to ramp up province wide with the Ministry of Health reporting more than 27-thousand tests completed in the reporting cycle.
Saturday marked the third straight day in which more than 20,000 tests were done in the province.
