Several trucks remain on the scene of an early morning fire in downtown St. Catharines.
Crews were called to a small fire in the basement of 385 St. Paul Street around 3:40am, the flames were quickly put out.
No word yet what caused the fire, but no one was hurt.
Red Cross is also on scene helping 7 tenants on the second floor who were displaced due to the fire.
St. Paul is closed from Academy and Court streets until approximately 6am while crews continue to investigate.
