The Mayor of Niagara Falls confirming there will be no TV broadcast of this year's New Year's Eve show in Queen Victoria Park.
This marks the second year, the city and Niagara Parks Commission have failed to secure a broadcast partner for the popular concert.
Jim Diodati tells Post Media part of the problem is the tourist industry is reluctant to commit more money inorder to entice one of Canada's broadcasters to air the show.
The mayor says hotel rooms are filling up so local tourist operators don't feel the need to contribute more money to get the end of year concert on the airwaves.
But Diodati says the show will go on, adding they are close to finalizing the musical acts that will play the park December 31st.
