It will take more than a partial US government shut down to keep NORAD from keeping an eye on Santa tonight.
Officials say 1,500 volunteers will continue the 63 year tradition of tracking the big man's journey throughout the day.
Volunteers will be posting up to the minute updates on Twitter, answering phone calls, and responding to emails as families eagerly await the sound of sleigh bells on the roof.
NORAD representatives tell us they use infrared sensors from Rudolph's nose to determine Santa's exact location all night long.
