The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is relaxing rules for some businesses to put up signs to attract customers.
The town is launching a pilot program allowing stores in the Queen-Picton Heritage District to use temporary, exterior A-frame signage.
The program is slated to run until October 31, 2020, unless an alternative end date is deemed appropriate by the Lord Mayor and Interim CAO.
Interested businesses must apply on the town's website.
“The recovery of Niagara-on-the-Lake businesses is an ongoing priority for Town Council and Staff,” stated Lord Mayor Betty Disero. “This program is another example of how we continue to work with our business community to support their success in this new reality.”
