House sales may be cooling off, but not cottage sales.
A new report on recreational property by Royal Lepage shows sales and prices are up in many Ontario resort areas and will likely stay that way.
Spokesperson Kevin Somers says that's because a cottage buyer tends to have a higher net worth than someone shopping for a house.
The highest cottage prices are in Muskoka at 1.5 million dollars, followed by Niagara-on-the-Lake at 1.2 million.
The average Ontario cottage price at 413-thousand dollars.
