The race for Lord Mayor is heating up in Niagara on the Lake.
Current NOTL councillor and former Toronto city councillor Betty Disero who now resides in the old town, has thrown her hat into the ring ahead of the October municipal election.
Disero says its time to manage growth while protecting the town's historic neighbourhoods.
