The current Lord Mayor of Niagara-on-the-Lake is looking for re-election in the fall.
With 10 days left for candidates to file their paperwork, Pat Darte announced he is running in the October Municipal election.
Darte joined CKTB's Lee Sterry saying it's been a challenging term with four different CAO's for the town, but there has been wonderful accomplishments.
He points that NOTL has the lowest distribution rates in Niagara and is on track to have the lowest rates in the province.
Darte says he is now working on his priority list and wants to hear from residents.
Daniel Turner and Betty Disero are also running for the mayor's position.
Town Councillor Paolo Miele also announcing today that he will run for re-election with a Facebook Live video.
The deadline for candidates to file their paperwork is July 27th at 2pm
The election will be held in October.
